Who Is Abigail?
Abigail takes pride in being "unapologetically herself" 100% of the time. From putting on self-written one woman shows at family reunions, to belting Annie songs standing on the kitchen table, performing has been in her blood from a young age. She is passionate about musical theatre, improv, sketch comedy and devising collaborative, original works.
Abigail's technical work experiences include scene painting, makeup and hair design, writing and directing. Summer of 2017, she had the opportunity to be the Theatre and Dance specialist at Camp Weequahic where she shared her craft and taught children ages 8-16. In 2018, Abigail studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City as a member of their 10-week Summer Conservatory! In 2019, Abigail booked her first, second and third professional acting jobs with the Ohio Outdoor Historical Drama Association, Original Productions Theatre and Shadowbox Live respectively. She currently works as a full time Metaperformer/cast member at Shadowbox Live, America's Largest Resident Theatre Company.
Abigail is a proud alumnus of Miami University where she received her B.A. in Theatre with a minor in Musical Theatre. She was an active member of the Miami University TrebleMakers, an award winning, all female a cappella group on campus. With the group she's recorded an EP, Behind Bars, a full album, No Boundaries and multiple singles; all can be found on iTunes and Spotify. She is also a sister of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, a multiple semester Dean's List student, recipient of the Outstanding Creative Contribution Award in Theatre and The Hurst Family Acting Scholarship.
