Who Is Abigail?
Abigail takes pride in being "unapologetically herself" 100% of the time. From putting on self-written one woman shows at family reunions, to belting Annie songs standing on the kitchen table, performing has been in her blood from a young age. She is passionate about musical theatre, improv and sketch comedy and devising collaborative works.
Abigail's technical work experiences include scene painting, makeup and hair design and directing. Summer of 2017, she had the opportunity to be the Theatre and Dance specialist at Camp Weequahic where she shared her craft and taught children ages 8-16. In 2018, Abigail studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City as a member of their 10-week Summer Conservatory! This summer, Abigail booked her first professional acting job with the Ohio Outdoor Historical Drama Association.
Abigail is a proud alumni of Miami University where she received her B.A. in Theatre with a minor in Musical Theatre. She was an active member of the Miami University TrebleMakers, an award winning, all female a cappella group on campus. With the group she recorded both an EP, Behind Bars, and a full album, No Boundaries; both can be found on iTunes and Spotify. She is also a sister of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, a multiple semester Dean's List student, recipient of the Outstanding Creative Contribution Award in Theatre and The Hurst Family Acting Scholarship. In her sparse free time, she enjoys painting, quoting Spongebob, getting "lost in the sauce" of Wikipedia and making Dad jokes.
